Cory Skyler Drouillard is not advocating the end of the still framed image. Drouillard believes in the digital age movement can exist alongside the still framed image. Drouillard is introducing the television screen as the picture frame playing on a continuous loop Modern Movement Art. The acclaimed artist Tom Zotos has said, “Pablo Picasso at the time of his death was experimenting with light sources and movement.” Zotos is confident Picasso would have advanced his art to movement as Drouillard has done today.


COKER CAR MUSEUM CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE

At the historic Coker Car Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee curator of the museum Phil Minton made the Muscle car available that had captured Cory Skyler Drouillard’s attention for filming. Corky Coker owner of the museum missed his flight to Chicago to meet Cory Skyler Drouillard and observe him perform his orchestrated dance filming the Coker Museum muscle cars.

THE LAURENT HOUSE

Mary Beth Peterson the Illinois Architect and Vice President of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation of Rockford, Illinois came with keys in a downpour and opened the Laurent House providing Cory Skyler Drouillard with an emotional guided tour of the structure Frank Lloyd Wright built in 1948 that he called his “Little Gem.” Drouillard hearing the story presented by Mary Beth Peterson made the decision to pay homage to the kindred spirit of Frank Lloyd Wright and the natural colors from the environment surrounding the structure. Drouillard calls his dedication to Frank Lloyd Wright “Wall of Color.”

Tim Wellborn was being interviewed by a journalist from Belgium when he broke away to meet Cory Skyler Drouillard and describe his collection of muscle cars that are valued into the millions of dollars.
